Hello,
I have two cameras based IMX571
For both, a player One and a risingCam the cooling is not active on the native driver
On the other hand it is functional on the ascom driver
Any idea where the problem could come from?
No cooler

Re: No cooler
Hi,
for the Player1 camera you need to be using the latest versions of SharpCap 4.1 beta (https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/sha ... p-4-1-beta) which have support for the cooler functionality on Player One cameras. This support is *not* in SharpCap 4.0
For the RisingCam, you should use that new version of SharpCap *and* install a very recent version of the DirectShow drivers for the risingcam - these should be from roughly September 2022 or newer. Those DirectShow drivers have some additional functionality that SharpCap can use to give better control of the camera (including cooler, high bit depth, etc) when it is opened via DirectShow.
cheers,
Robin

Re: No cooler
Thank you
Everything seems to be operational.
I will do some sensor analysis during the day
By the way, at what temperature do you do the analysis?

Re: No cooler
Hi,
good to hear that the cooler is now working for you
The temperature has practically no effect on the analysis results, so you can quite happily leave it turned off during the analysis.
cheers,
Robin
