Sequencer Messaging

#1

Post by nexusjeep »

Afternoon and Happy New Year,

Is there anyway within the sequencer to create an entry that emails when say guiding is lost or a sequence / block completes I just wanted a something in the heading of the email that could say "Warning Guiding lost" and if a block has completed to message to say "Block ???? finished" etc.

This way it saves me having to go out and check if everything is okay when initially starting a session.

Cheers

Hi Nick

nothing directly for emailing or similar, but you can achieve that sort of thing with the 'Run <program to run> ...' block in the 'Misc' section. That lets you run any windows executable (or batch file or powershell script) with command line parameters. That opens a whole array of standalone tools to do things like send emails or some other message which can be launched from your sequence.

cheers,

Robin
