Hey guys. I just updated to the pro version and now I can't get an image to save my life. Before the upgrade everything worked great but now I can't get the image. I took a screenshot to show what I'm seeing. I'm using a Lunt 60mm HA with a ZWO678mm camera. When I use ASICAP it works so I know it's not the camera. I'm I missing a new setting in the pro version?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim

Re: Help.. Overexposed after upgrade to Pro
Hi,
I think the most likely cause is that you have previously set up SharpCap to stretch the displayed image (using the 'Display Histogram Stretch' controls on the right). This setting may be being remembered from session to session when you re-open the camera and SharpCap re-applies the last used settings. You could check this section of the controls and reset the stretch to default (the reset button is an anticlockwise arrow), or open the camera with the <CTRL> key pressed down next time - holding down the <CTRL> key stops SharpCap from reloading the previously used camera settings and puts things back to default.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Help.. Overexposed after upgrade to Pro
Thanks Robin. That’s good info to know.
In this case it turned out that the Binning (which I still don’t understand lol) had reset to 1. Once I reselected option 2 everything went back to normal and I was able to pull this image.

Re: Help.. Overexposed after upgrade to Pro
Hi,
nice image - glad to hear it is sorted
Oddly, I'd have expected the 2x2 binning image to be brighter if anything, rather than the other way around. Binning will either add or average the values from 4 pixels (2x2 binning) - the camera software may do it either way depending on make/model. If it does the adding approach then you would expect the 2x2 binned image to be 4x brighter.
Anyway, if it's working, it's working
cheers,
Robin
