Hi,

in recent versions of SharpCap you can just drag the SER file from windows file explorer into the blank area where the picture goes (that will work if you haven't opened a camera yet).

Alternatively, select 'Test Camera 2 (High Speed)' then choose the 'Browse' button in the 'Image' selection control under the Testing Controls, and pick the SER file that way.

In either case, SharpCap will play through the SER file on repeat as if it had come from a camera. You can affect the brightness and/or frame rate by adjusting the gain and exposure controls (ie halve exposure, double gain will keep the brightness the same but double the playback rate).

cheers,

Robin
