Hi Robin,
It sounds like you may be considering this issue already. However, the thread in which it may have been reported contains other issues. I wanted to get this issue isolated.
I run windows 10 and 11 with "automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" selected. With recent versions of SharpCap the windows taskbar is not displayed when the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen. This is with the SharpCap window displayed full screen.
As a check of my memory, I installed version 4.1.12221.0 (64 bit). This version allows the windows task bar to be displayed on top of the SharpCap window when the the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen.
Thanks for looking at this,
Peter

Re: 4.1.12637.0 (64 bit)SharpCap permanently covering windows taskbar
Hi Peter,
yes, back in June I fixed a bug that one pixel was left between the top of the taskbar and the bottom of SharpCap when you set SharpCap to full screen (no auto-hide taskbar involved). That seems to have also made the SharpCap window extend one pixel further down the screen in auto-hide taskbar mode, which is sufficient to stop the mouse activation of the taskbar at the bottom edge from working.
So, it looks like I need to detect auto hide taskbar being on and then use that info to made (or not make) the 1 pixel offset.
Annoyingly, all of this complexity comes from the simple requirement to have a black title bar and border to the SharpCap window when in night colour scheme. If you are happy to have the default bright colour window borders then the system takes care of all of these little things for you. However you can't just change the colours and leave the system to handle the rest, you have to take care of everything...
cheers,
Robin
