White Balance 268C

Is there a set of standard recommendations for setting the white balance using Sharpcap? I've set up the camera during the day with a camera lens attached and adjusted the color sliders to match what I see with my eyes. Is there a better method for DSO imaging? Thanks.

Hi,

my personal preference is to leave the colour balance in the camera controls at default settings (by which I mean no adjustment). That may lead to a colour cast on raw images, but that can usually be fixed rather easily after stacking.
