Won't capture images QHY174gps
capture doesn't work, neither quick capture or normal capture. The system has 24 gig of RAM 11gig dedicated to sharpcap.
It worked fine yesterday and the only difference is the roof is closed and the GPS is not locked. Will this prevent capture?
I want to test the speed and dropped images.

Hi Steve,
no, GPS will not affect capture.
Some things to check are
* Good USB connection - remove any extensions or hubs for testing in case they are part of the problem
* Is the frame count (bottom left going up) - if not then no frames are coming from the camera
* Is the exposure set correctly? Kind of 'check the plug' thing, but if the exposure has been accidentally set to 300s then you will not capture frames very quickly!
* Reset all camera settings to default (hold CTRL while the camera is being opened).
cheers,
Robin
