Latest SC 4 beta not remembering camera settings

#1

Post by ZepHead »

I've upgraded to the most recent v4 beta release (4.0.7493) two days ago.

I realized yesterday that when connecting to my ASI533MC pro, that it was reverting back to RAW8 every time I launched SC. It doesn't require a complete shutdown and relaunch either. A simple "Close Camera" command from the menu and then reconnecting produces the same result. Exposure time also reverts to 50 ms from whatever setting I had in the previous session. Gain, brightness and white balance settings are kept however.

Hi Frank,

this is a bug that got introduced in 4.0.7493 I think (maybe the build before). I've already got a fix and will be releasing a fixed version on Monday.

As usual, thanks for reporting - people taking the time to report these things helps massively :)

cheers,

Robin
