What is skycalc? Never heard about it....

"It works on my system"
So what did you do exactly? You took a smaller ROI and did you change any of the other parameters?

Thanks,

Its a collimation aid called sky cal
Works with a tribahtinov mask and is very effective for all sct scopes

Hello,

It does work with the test image. But I have not had the opportunity to retest by night. Will do on wendesday if weather permits.

Thanks for the link to sky cal, I will definitely test it, also on wendesday.

Hello,

I was not able to get it working.
Debug shows no frames processed :(

I took 60 frames of Vega and put the .fits here so that you can replay them with the camera folder thing and test on your side.

Cyrille

I need the debug output, as per the prior instructions:

In SharpCap's scripting console (Scripting → Console), with the Collimation Aid running and live star in frame enter these commands:

debug_on()
# let it run ~30 seconds
debug_off()

Reply back the full debug() output, everything between the ==== lines.
