Hi
I was wondering if I'll have problems platesolving with the Askar 50P and the ASI 294/533.
Thank you.
Carlo

Re: Platesolving with the Askar 50P
Hi,
that should work fine - because of the short focal length of the 50P (190mm according to specs), those relatively large sensors will give you a good field of view (nearly 4x4 degrees for the 533, almost 6x4 for the 294). That should lead to solid plate solving results, even using the smallest of SharpCap's internal plate solve databases.
Sounds like a good setup for some wide views
cheers,
Robin
