Hi Robin,
In the latest version 4.1.14089, I'm getting a reproducible crash as soon as I hover my mouse over the new menu item "Other Settings Profiles...".
Exception Type: System.ArgumentException
Message: The path is empty. (Parameter 'path')
Target Site: string GetFullPath(string path)@System.IO.Path
Could it be that an exception is being thrown because there are no entries yet? How do I create some?
Cheers!

Re: Crash with new Other Settings Profiles
Hi,
thanks for posting - I don't think it is to do with a lack of other profiles. As far as I can work out, oddly it's related to shortcuts on your desktop.
As part of preparing to show the info for other settings instances, it checks your desktop for shortcuts that point to SharpCap settings instances (ones that point to SharpCap.exe and have '/instance n' in the command arguments). It looks like there is a type of shortcut that I don't have on my desktop that is missing a target, and my code is not coping with that.
I will have an update out very shortly to resolve this.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Crash with new Other Settings Profiles
Can you try the new 4.1.14090 when you have a chance? Fairly sure it should resolve the issue, but so far I haven't been able to break it myself, so it would be good to get confirmation.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Crash with new Other Settings Profiles
It was crashing for me too; I even sent a report.
Now is ok

Strange! On my desktop, there's only one shortcut to launch SharpCap by default without any parameters.
Anyway, it works now! Thanks for the fix! Even though I need to familiarize myself with the new feature, I was a little hesitant to use the File menu for fear of accidentally crashing the program.
Cheers!
