Hi,
has your camera got the latest firmware and FPGA update on it? I have just tested with the colour (non-cooled) version of the IMX585 and get the expected results, or close too anyway.
Firmware updates for the IMX585 cameras can be found here - https://touptek-astro.com/Firmware/ - and you can check the existing version in ToupSky. You need to make sure you get exactly the right firmware (cooled/uncooled colour/mono).

I'm using the ToupCap.dll that is included in that download.
There is no change in the crazy analysis.

Can you also 'snapshot' a single image after running the analysis. This will save an image, but what I am really after is the capturesettings.txt file saved alongside the image - that records all the camera settings and I would like to check that to see if there are any unexpected values.

on the ATR585 GPS mono camera (cooled), I have the following results:
Upper row: 8 bit and lower row: 16 bit.
Left column: normal readout and right column: HDR readout.
I used a LED flat field illumination panel.

It's been rainy here recently so I don't have the power attached to the telescope.
Tomorrow is supposed to be clear and I will perform another analysis.
Can you point me to exactly what I should click on to get the image and text file you'd like to see?
I'm not familiar with SharpCap except for Polar Alignment and this Sensor Analysis.

Hi,
the nice thing about sensor analysis is that you don't need clear skies to do it - grab the telescope with the camera attached and point it at a blank wall (you might need to adjust the illumination level on the wall or cover part of the aperture). As long as the light level remains constant during the analysis you can run it indoors under artificial light.
Anyway, from the point of view of capturing an image and grabbing the image and text file - use the 'Snapshot' button in the toolbar. Just click it and SharpCap will save the current image from the camera to file (probably PNG or FITS depending on your settings). Once that has happened, a green notification bar will appear telling you where the file has been saved to - you can click on the folder name in the notification bar to open the folder automatically and you will see the saved file and the capture settings.txt file next to it in that folder.
