Naming a New Camera Control Profile

#1

Post by smithn00 »

Adding a new camera and control profile. I press SAVE AS button and a little window opens asking for the name of the profile. I type the name but no characters appear. A little mark on the name line moves as I type but no visible name.

Hi,

interesting - I have just checked and that is working for me. I assume you have an up-to-date version of SharpCap?

Do you see problems with entering text in other places? (for instance you can type in the boxes that show the values of controls like exposure or gain to enter an exact value).

cheers,

Robin

The camera is UltraStar-M.
I just downloaded new copy of SharpCap Pro. I had let my subscription lapse but I renewed yesterday.
No other data entry problems.

I have entered a name by going to the very bottom of the "Naming" window and typing blindly.
It looks like the little window is one line too small. Or I am missing a setting in my Windows setup.

Hi,

what settings do you have for font scaling on Windows? Have you set a font size significantly bigger than usual or are you running a high DPI display? Those sort of things can cause the sort of problem you are talking about sometimes.

cheers,

Robin
