Problem getting frame type to show in file name

I’ve tried everything but i just cannot get the light or dark or flat or bias labels to show in the actual file name of each capture

I get a folder labeled with each frame type but not the individual files

I have {frame type} shown in filenames tab of settings

What can i do?

I just noticed that the {target name} also isn’t showing up in the file name

I see the frame type and target name when i double click each file

It just seems to be in a abbreviated form in the list

How do i get windows to expand the full file name?

Hi,

it sounds as though maybe you have Windows Explorer in one of the 'list' views where all the files appear in a vertical list. In this mode, you often have multiple columns visible, one for the name, another for the size, etc. You can adjust the width of each of these columns (there is a little dividing line that you can drag sideways between the headers of the columns). I *think* this might be what you need to do.

By the way, the filename template should have {TargetName} and {FrameType} without spaces, not with.

But nothing works

Not really a problem because sharpcap creates individual named folders for each frame type
