Using Flats/Darks from NINIA with Folder Monitor
I use SharpCap's Folder monitor feature for EAA. I use NINA to capture my images including my dark and flat frames. How do I use the flats and darks from NINA with the Folder monitor? What are the steps I need to take?

Re: Using Flats/Darks from NINIA with Folder Monitor
Hi,
there are two steps basically...
1) Create master dark and flat frames from the individual dark/flat frames - you could create the master dark in SharpCap using the folder monitor camera I suppose, but SharpCap can't properly make a master flat in that way (from pre-saved images) since the dark flat/bias subtraction can't be set up properly. So, the best thing to do is to create your master dark/flat frame in some other application and save them.
2) Select your light frames in the folder monitor camera, then
a) Select your master dark in the 'Subtract Dark' control in PreProcessing on the right (use the Browse... button)
b) Select your master flat similarly in the 'Apply Flat' control
c) Enable live stacking and press the 'Play' button in the folder monitor camera area to read the images from the files and feed them to live stacking
Hope this helps,
Robin
