Starlight Xpress Trius 694 Mono camera problem

Hi,

About 2 month ago I purchased SharpCap Pro. I have a Starlight Xpress Trius 694 mono imaging camera. For the first couple of time it was working fine, istalling the software and connecting all my equipments went without any issue. All the sudden during one imaging session all I got is complete black images. I went through all the suggestions from your website to solve the issue but nothing seems to work. The camera works perfectly fine with the other control software I have and with its own capture software.
I tried to install SharpCap on a different PC but the result is the same: when I try to make dark (or bias) frames, all the image pixels are 0 value black pixels. Light frames were also not good, but because of weather I can only test the dark frames. I also have a feeling that the image readout takes longer than with the other two software.
I enclose the latest log of a test capture sequence of 5 images with 200 msec exposure:

sorry to hear you are having problems and thanks for sharing the log. While the log doesn't directly point to any cause for the problem, it does confirm that SharpCap is successfully communicating with your camera and is receiving frames, so that's a good thing.

I think my first suggestion - if you haven't already tried it - would be to open the camera with the <CTRL> key pressed down. That stops SharpCap from restoring previously used camera settings when opening the camera, and it's just possible that one setting or another has been adjusted in such a way to cause the problem and is being restored each time. In particular, SharpCap adds 'digital gain' and 'black level' controls for the Starlight Xpress cameras - if you have set the 'black level' control to a low value then it will trigger SharpCap to reduce pixel values (the black level is really there to help control the large pedestal value you get when using digital gain).
