Connecting a focuser

Not sure if it's me. But wouldn't it be so simple to add a connect hardware tab somewhere?

Please help me find where you hid this option.

If you look in the second top bar, on the far right, there is a small blue plug/connector. That's the connect hardware button.

Thanks. Found under File>Settings>Hardware... I have more questions... any many more...
