Plate Solve & Resync using GSS

Hi. Sometime ago I tried out Green Swamp Server but due to the plate solve and resync tool not working properly as the HEQ5 would just sit there and not move after the process completed. I ditched using GSS and I went back to the tried and tested EQAscom (EQMod) as it just worked without any problems and pretty much trouble free.
So I’m just asking if anyone else had this issue and can this be resolved as I would like to go back to GSS at some point. Admittedly I'm asking this before I download it again.

Hi Jon,

well, I use GSS now, with an NEQ6 rather than an HEQ5, and have no problem with plate solve and resync. I guess it may depend to some extent on how you have configured GSS and potentially which version you are using. Unfortunately I'm away at the moment and can't confirm either the version number I have on my astro PC or the settings

Hi Robin. Thank you for replying even though you are away. Appreciated.
I will download GSS again and when it’s clear I’ll give it another go. Perhaps you right in a setting not switched on/off or updates have corrected this in the background over the course of time?
Either way I will give it another go and will report back.
