Hi Robin, in the end, I don't know how, by updating windows (it had just been updated to 24H2) by restarting several times, in the end I managed to uninstall the previous version first, and then install the latest one.
Greetings Carlo

Re: Error installing latest Version 4.1.12637.0 (64-bit)
Hi Carlo,
yes, it all seems to come down to the uninstall of the previous version failing (this gets run as part of the upgrade, so it will cause the upgrade to fail too). There's often a larger log file alongside the ones you posted that contains the detail of the failed MSI install/uninstall attempt, but since you have resolved the issue it's probably not worth worrying about.
One trick that can often help in a 'failed to uninstall' situation is to re-download the installer for the version that you are trying to uninstall, run the installer and choose to uninstall from there. That uses the freshly downloaded copy of the installer for the uninstall process, which can help if the files cached on your PC have been lost or damaged.
cheers,
Robin
