Hello again!
When testing my sequences, I noticed something about the sequence step "COUNTDOWN FOR 15 SHOWING "...".
Normally this should count down 15 seconds...
However, it seems that if, for example, a profile with an exposure time of 16 s was previously loaded, the decrementation only takes place every 16 seconds. This means that this countdown takes 15x16s = 240 s to finish.

Re: Sequence countdown
Hi,
that's not expected! - I will investigate to see if I can make the same happen.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Sequence countdown
Hi,
ok, I'm not seeing this with a camera exposure set to 5s or 10s or whatever - the countdown still proceeds at the correct rate. Maybe it depends on the camera in use or what other features of SharpCap are active? Can you share the exact conditions to get it to happen please.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Sequence countdown
Hmm,
of course I can't reproduce the behavior now, even though it bothered me half the night, typical!
At least it didn't work with the simulator and the test camera! At the next opportunity I'll test it again with my real veTEC...

Re: Sequence countdown
Ok, just had a look at the code, and it's possible the problem could be related to the system being very heavily loaded (nearly unresponsive due to CPU load). It is meant to receive a timer message every second, which reduces the remaining time by 1s and updates the display, but if it is very busy then those timer messages may get delays.
I will change the code so that it subtracts the elapsed time since the last update, rather than just 1s - that means that even if the display update is very slow, it should wait *roughly* the right amount of time.
cheers,
Robin
