I've recently purchased the Altair 585C Tec cooled camera and installed on my PC (Win 11 64bit). I have had Hypercam 186C Pro Tec and 183M in the past and both worked on Sharpcap okay no problem. Sharpcap doesn't 'see' the 585C.
NINA and AltairCapture both recognise the existence of the camera and operate it as required but for some reasom Sharpcap fails to even acknowledge the existence of the camera in the 'Cameras' drop down list even after rescanning. I also tried connecting using my Windows laptop but again Sharcap doesn't see the camera.
I've tried with both USB 3 and USB 2 cables.
In Device Manager the camera appears under 'USB Serial Bus' operating with the WinUSB driver with no 'Yellow Triangles' or indications of any issues.
I've tried totally uninstalling Sharpcap and reinstalling and still no success. At my wits end now.
Can anybody advise?

Hi,
do you have the very latest version of SharpCap from https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/downloads ? There was an update from Altair that I included about mid-July that is not in the version that you get via auto-update yet. That update may be the one required to detect the 585CTec

Just downloaded latest v 12452 and it now recognises the 585 - thanks Robin
