Hi Robin
As you are already aware. The imx294 sensor in dual band and narrow band have some asymmetrical response? And need like gain 190 and at least 3 seconds for flats and about 28k adu?
Is it possible for the auto exposure to adjust the panel brightness rather than gain and exposure times? As the panel brightness needed for each filter and be different or is that already supported?

Oh rats...
yes, the 294 has, I think, more quirks and foibles than any other sensor
In theory, nothing to stop the brightness of the panel from being auto set, except that I have no code for that yet. Could we get away with locking the gain and just auto setting the exposure do you think? That would be quicker to implement...
cheers,
Robin

It would probably work but I think it is recommended minimum of 3 seconds? So need a way to set the minimum exp time and the panel would have to be default by dim enough.... It would end up taking extra time if say a dual band frame taking 4 seconds and Sii narrow band needing 6-10 secs (just wild numbers for example) if I'm doing like 10-30 flat and then dark flat
