21 segments to get this - awfully blotchy in the disc and glare around the proms have made it difficult to process.

great to see that they have come out so well

I have had some blotchy ones like that when using my Quark - I find that taking flats straight before capturing the mosaic helps, since as the temperature of the quark changes slightly, the dark/light pattern over the frame changes. Flats will cure that, but only if they have been taken recently with little time for the quark temperature to drift further.

Thanks Robin,

I wish it was that simple an answer - as flats were taken just before the session, as there ended up being limited time for much else as cloud rolled in.

It's taken a few hours to sort out the segments to fit.
