Re: Import Settings
Hi,
could you send me the settings zip file that is causing the problem please (by email - use the contact us link at the bottom of the page). Also good to know exactly what version of SharpCap you are using.
thanks,
Robin

Re: Import Settings
Hello Robin
By doing another test I saw that it was normal: when you import a settings file, ScharpCap loads it, then exits, the new settings will be taken into account at the next startup
Would it be possible to have the file as a command line argument?

Re: Import Settings
Hi Louis,
glad to hear that it wasn't a problem - the reload is required to ensure that there aren't any parts of SharpCap that have loaded the old settings and then might keep using them after the import.
I guess it would be possible to have a command line argument to load the settings (there isn't one at the moment), but I don't quite understand what use case that would be important for - perhaps you could explain what you are trying to achieve.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Import Settings
Hello Robin
I have two configurations with my FSQ106: one as is and another with focal reducer
I could then make a shortcut for each configuration which would prevent me from forgetting to change the focal length in the settings

Re: Import Settings
Hi Louis,
ah, OK. There's a better option for that - you can mave multiple independent SharpCap configurations using the /instance command line parameter. See https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#Comman ... 0Arguments for more info.
cheers,
Robin
