Hi Folks,
Could do with some help please. I'm not to good with computers, know enough to get by. I've just obtained a ZWO EFW filter wheel to do LRGB. I use sharpcap to control image acquisition. I'd like to incorporate the filter wheel into the system . Can some one provide an idiots guide to this please and how to set it up
Many thanks
Neil

Re: ZWO EFW Filter wheel set up
Hi Neil,
SharpCap should automatically detect the EFW wheels, even without needing an ASCOM driver.
Make sure the wheel is connected via USB, run SharpCap and go to File->Settings then the Hardware page. The EFW should appear in the Filter Wheel selection drop down, so choose that and press OK. Now when you open a camera, SharpCap should show a filter wheel control in the panel on the right (in the Scope Controls section). Tick the connected box if not already connected then click on the filter buttons to change filters. You can use the 'Setup' button to give each filter a name.
See https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Hardware%20Tab and https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.0/#Filter ... %20Control for more info.
cheers,
Robin
