Cant go above 320x240 30FPS when plugged into a USB 3.0 port it says failed to something resolution trying alternate something
and it doesnt matter if i change the color space mode. its the same

in a USB 2.0 port i can use all the resolutions up to 2K but the FPS is extremely low. 2FPS. and only 5FPS at 1080p
What gives? does anyone have a working setup? is there some driver i can download for the camera?

Please? Anyone? I dont know whats wrong if my device is faulty or if it only works in USB 2.0 for some reason? Why does it work better in USB 2.0 than USB 3.0? it says its for USB 3.0 but doesnt work that way for me.

Did the camera come with a CD. If so, did you install any drivers from it?

Have a look at https://www.svbony.com/blog/solutions-o ... ng-problem

Have you tried using an alternative PC/Laptop?

Have a look at the last entry in this thread viewtopic.php?f=18&t=349&p=1556#p1556. Post the information for your laptop obtained from USBreeView and msinfo. Also post screenshots of settings in SharpCap when you try to use the camera.

No it came with nothing but itself. a USB 3.0 cable and a 2" adapter. i read its supposed to be plug and play with sharpcap software
i have tried the latest version of sharpcap and other various versions. doesnt make any difference
I dont have another laptop/pc to test it with.
I'm using a desktop computer

I ended up returning it for a refund and plan on getting a DSLR camera instead. has better manual controls and more settings and stuff. and doesnt cost much more. and much better resolution.

My PC specs are
i7 3770k quad core 3.4ghz CPU
32GB DDR3 ram
256GB SSD + 500GB HDD
GTX 1050 ti 4GB OC graphics card
HP 8300 SFF computer model
and acer 144hz 1ms gaming 1080p gaming display
