I've finally completed all 110 Messier objects after grabbing M79 on 10/18. All images in the photo mosaic were captured with SharpCap Live Stacking.

Hi,
Great work putting together such a fabulous set of images. How long did it take from start to finish?
Cheers, Robin

Re: Messier Catalog Completed 10 - 2019
Thanks for your kind words.
I started in the astronomy hobby in June of 2017 and have been capturing messier objects from the start. For the images included in this mosaic I started about a year ago in the fall of 2018. This is when I started using SharpCap, especially Live Stacking. In the spring of this year I attempted my first Messier marathon capturing a total of 79 objects, many of which are included in the mosaic. Short answer about a year to get all the images.
I'll attempt the Messier marathon again next spring. If I'm able may go to a higher elevation which will allow me to capture more of the objects.

Next spring between March and April, not sure of exact dates, all Messier objects will be visible. Depending on weather I'll attempt the Messier marathon again. I'll broadcast on NSN.

Great work!
Re: Messier Catalog Completed 10 - 2019
I am impressed that you did them all as I keep considering working my way through the Messier objects but then get side tracked with Nebula as I can't drum up the enthusiasm for imaging star clusters which I probably should try to do at some point problem is so many objects so few clear nights in the UK really need to win the lottery and move somewhere better suited to the hobby.
