Great captures Tim!
I really like M106 and especially the color. If you ever get the change/possibility, see if you can capture and incorporate Ha narrow-band data into it. It has some very interesting Ha features.

Re: Image quality while plate solving with a C14 & Starizona focal reducer
Hi Gene Maybe you already did this, but what happens when you use 100% Gain and 4 seconds for a plate solve? I'm on 2100mm focal length with also a APS-C sensor (Zwo ASI071MC Pro) and get enough stars for a plate solve with that. This with a 50/50 whitebalance setting. Also, did you try the build-in...

Cooler Power not switched on after USB disconnect
Robin Don't know if this is a SC bug or camera (Zwo ASI071MC Pro) specific. When the USB gets disconnected (for whatever reason), SC tries to reconnect a few times and then gives a empty screen with the notice bar on top. When then the camera is reconnected and opened again in SC, all used settings ...

Cool shot Robin!!
I did see it here too in the night of Friday to Saturday and my mouth was open the whole time. Even teared up, so much it impressed me.
And no desire to capture it whatsoever: it was 40 minutes of just witnessing this with my own eyes

Re: SharpCap Pro Memory Limits
Hello and welcome By the look if this, this is the free version of SharpCap. If you check under Help in the menu bar, there should be a SharpCap Pro Licence part. Check if that is there and if so, see what it says. If it's not there or info missing, you can head over to https://store.astrosharp.co.u...

Hello and welcome
Could you make a screenshot of SharpCap interface with the settings you used? That way we can compare better.

Re: Field of view too small - sun, moon too big
Hi and welcome. With software there is no way to alter that. You indeed need either a 0.5 Barlow or another camera. If you go to https://astronomy.tools/calculators/field_of_view/ , under the tab Imaging Mode , you can see an estimate of what you need. Just fill in your specs there and choose the su...
