Re: Focuser Move Failure in Sequencer
Hi, thanks for the additional logs - I have the problem worked out now - the line of code to start the focuser moving in response to the sequencer was duplicated, so it starts the focuser off moving to position 5000, then requests it again. The focuser fails the second request because it is already ...

Re: Histogram Movement
Hi, sadly I don't think that's the right log file, since it doesn't seem to have any information related to live stacking in it - in that log you have opened the 'Deep Sky Test Camera' and used the histogram... In general, you would only expect that sort of thing to happen in live stacking if the li...

Re: Issue with Framing Assistant
Hi,
OK, I will try to add an additional slower rate - it will have to be like the 25% movement option. What speed do you think might be OK? 12.5%? Less?
cheers,
Robin

Re: Performance issues
Hi,
I'm afraid that I don't quite understand the question, sorry. I'm not quite working out what 'limit display to lower values than 1024Mb' means
cheers,
Robin

Re: Feature tracking and mount controls with Ioptron
Hi, OK, interesting one. I am currently running iOptron 9.11, and I am not seeing any issues like this, so I would definitely give the update a try to see if that helps resolve the problem. It's probably also worth upgrading the ASCOM platform if you are not on the latest version, just in case. I'm ...

Re: What is "good" tracking
Hi, there are 25 frames recorded in that live stack so far, and the total drift looks like it is about 8 or 9 pixels, so if it was a steady drift at about 0.3 pixels per frame then that would be all OK. However, you can see that there looks to be a pattern in the drift, perhaps a slight zigzag, gene...

Re: Solar Mosaic Tool changes tracking from solar to star
Hi Mike, I just checked again and I'm sure the SharpCap code is not sending a request for sidereal rate at any point during the alignment or mosaic run. I think your analsyis might well be correct - that it is happening as part of the GOTO movement. Perhaps the ASCOM driver for the mount is automati...

Re: Can we get an auto gain that works for lunar and planetary?
Hi Mike, auto exposure and auto gain in the controls on the right hand side are checkboxes that enable/disable the equivalent feature in the camera SDK - that's why you see them for some brands of camera and not for others. As such, there's not much I can do about how they operate, although it's wor...
