Can't write preferences

I want to change the preferences but the apply and OK button are not enable

Windows 10, appdata folder in read only but non-editable

Hi,

check the 'Filenames' tab for a warning/error regarding overwriting of capture files - It won't let you apply/save any changes if a warning is active in that tab. Normally you would see that as changing the filename settings would be the thing that causes the warning, but older versions of SharpCap didn't have such good checks for the problem, so may have let you set up filename settings that are now detected as being a problem.
