Goto image question
When using goto image do i need a stacked and stretched non linear image of the object or will a single linear fits sub exposure from last night do?

Hi,
you should be able to use either - the only real issue would be if the single images were really faint and SharpCap struggles to detect enough stars to plate solve.
One thing to note is that SharpCap will try to go to the exact location to match the image - if you pick a single sub, it will go to the location that the telescope was at when capturing that sub. If you had any significant drift over the time you were stacking then it might be best to 'Goto' the stack to line up on the stacked image.

Got it working on a stacked and stretched .tiff image
For whatever reason the platesolve failed if the image was a . Fits
Anyways its an amazing and helpful function…even sets my rotator to the same angle
Going to save me many minutes on multi nights imaging
