QHY163m camera freeze when changing video settings

Hello,
I am still using a nice QHY163m with USB 3.1 cable but it stops working everytime I chnage video resolution or depth.
By changing speed mode normal to fast it reconnects as normal.
I do not know if is a problem with hardware or software, I attach the log file for reference , is someone able to help?

Hi,

nothing glaringly obvious in the log file, except that it looks like the PC is struggling to keep up with fetching and displaying the frame data at the first resolution though.

I would try increasing the 'USB Traffic' control on the camera - that tends to increase stability, although at the cost of reduced maximum frame rate - that might help.

thank you for your message.
i tried to play withthe USB traffic speed but no much difference, while the video restart also when I comuute from reatime to still and back.
I still think some bug affect the flow of this camera model with Sharpcap 4.1

Hi,

another possibility - if you do not need maximum frame rates, set the option to 'force still mode' in the controls on the right. That can help by changing the camera mode from live video (frames running continuously) to still frames on request (even though SharpCap will be automatically requesting a new frame straight away after the last has finished).

If you haven't already, do make sure you have the latest QHY system drivers (latest beta all-in-one is usually best).

I tried with beta driver but not much better.
ZWO cameras do not have this issue, but they have an auto traffic setting that QHY do not have..
