Hello... I have an AZ-GTI mount and two cameras. One on the main tube and the other on a guide scope. I will be using two instances of Sharpcap. My question is: both instances are connected to the same mount, and because of this, I think there might be a conflict between the Sharpcap and the mount.
From what I've researched, the ideal solution would be to connect both Sharpcaps to the Ascom Device Hub, instead of connecting it to the mount using the Synscam App Driver.
So I believe the step-by-step process would be something like this:
1) Turn on the AZ-GTi
2) Connect the notebook to the AZ-GTi's Wi-Fi
3) Open SynScan Pro and connect to the mount
4) Open the ASCOM Device Hub
5) In the Device Hub, select "SynScan App Driver"
6) Connect the Device Hub
7) Open SharpCap Main
8) Connect to the ASCOM Device Hub
9) Open SharpCap /instance=2
10) Connect to the ASCOM Device Hub
Am I correct?
Thanks again in advanced.

Re: Sharpcap - Two Instances in same mount
Hi,
yes, that should work - you will (should) only have to configure the device hub to use the Synscan app once - after that it should remember.
One thing to be aware of is to not try to use dithering in this setup - the two cameras controlled by the two versions of SharpCap will be taking frames starting at different times - if one Sharpcap tries to dither between frames, the other will be almost certainly in the middle of a frame which will get spoilt.
cheers,
Robin
