Re: What are the setting to connect Player One Appolo M to SharpCap
Hi,
once you have selected the camera to open it, you should see the controls that let you adjust the camera settings on the right, and also a status at the bottom left showing the number of frames from the camera so far.
If the number at the bottom left is increasing, you may be getting black frames from the camera due to short exposure, no light, etc. If that number is stuck at zero frames then it's worth checking the exposure value in the controls on the right - make sure that is set to something less than 1s - if it started out at maybe 30s or 180s then you would have to wait that long for the first frame to arrive.
Another possibility is that the USB communication with the camera is marginal - good enough to detect the camera, but not good enough to get frame image data. There is a post here - viewtopic.php?t=349 - on things to check and try out if it is a possible USB issue.
Finally, another thing to try is to open the camera with the <CTRL> key pressed down - this stops SharpCap from re-loading the last used settings for the camera, so if something you had adjusted previously is causing a problem by being reloaded each time, this will reset back to defaults.
cheers,
Robin
