Hi, I think that the option to make the UI surrounding the preview screen red could be a good idea. Some sort of brightness control for the UI if possible as well.

This would help a little with dark adaption and also would make the use of the laptop a little less glaring for outreach and especially star parties.

There's some software that does this better than others, Stellarium and APT do it very well.

It's already there - not the most spectacular night vision mode compared to Apt, but it exists.
