[Resolved] Error while launching on Windows10

Hi. I get this error while launching. Any ideas?

Hi,
no image I'm afraid, so can't comment - please retry posting the image. The most common cause of failure to start has (historically) been antivirus software causing trouble.

Ok, thanks.
That's weird - I just tried 3.1.5203 on a clean Win10 machine and it was fine, but I have made a tweak that might be able to cure the problem you are seeing, so please try 3.1.5209 (just added to the downloads page) and see if that helps.

Still the same error, might sh with my comp. Yet I say the 3.0 works fine. On a standard PC I dont have this problem, its only on a laptop but I guess this should not make any difference

A search for cannot load
system.valuetuple, version=4.0.0.0 turns up references to the .NET framework.

There is no such thing as a standard PC. Having the problem on the laptop suggests there is some software component of Windows not installed or at a different version on the laptop compared with the PC (even though both might be at Windows 10).
If the problem persists, it might be worth running
msinfo32, doing a
File > Save and post the resulting
.NFO file back to this thread.

Hi,
the Systel.ValueTuple.dll should be already installed on Windows 10 even before you install SharpCap. If you go to the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net then you should be able to search for System.ValueTuple and see results as below

A newer version of the same DLL is also inside SharpCap, so it shouldn't even be looking for the version that is installed on Windows - all very odd.
If your Win10 is not up to date then I'd suggest updating it to the latest version. You could also try installing the latest version of the .NET framework (4.7.1? 4.7.2?) and see if that helps.

Installed net 4.7 but still this system.valuetuple is empty
