Feature Tracking Window unusable after minimising

Hi

There appears to be a bug related to the ‘Feature Tracking’ window. The error occurs after minimising and maximising the window again. Although the window is maximised after the error occurs, the height of the window is only a few pixels, so you cannot see anything or interact with "Feature Tracking" (see screenshot). Closing and reopening the "Feature Tracking" window does not solve the problem. However, I was able to fix it by closing and restarting the entire SharpCap programme.
I was able to reproduce the problem using the following procedure:

1. Open SharpCap
2. Connect the camera (Camera V3 simulator is fine)
3. Open Feature Tracking
4. Minimise the Feature Tracking window
5. Move the minimised window down slightly (in practice, this happens when you try to maximise it with a double-click on the touchpad and accidentally move it slightly)
6. Maximise with a double-click
--> The window is now unusable until SharpCap is restarted (closing and reopening the Feature Tracking window does not help)

I am using SharpCap version 4.1.14130.0 - 19 January 2026. Logs are attached.

Regards
Thierry

Hi Thierry,

thanks for making such a detailed bug report - I have had one previous report on this issue, but in that case I couldn't make the problem happen, so I wasn't able to understand what was happening. It turns out that the step of 'move the minimised window slightly' in your report was the key - without doing that, everything works, if you do that the bug shows up.

I should have a fix for this in next week's update.

cheers,

Robin
