I've just downloaded v4.1.14012 which I see from the release notes has an update to the ZWO EFW SDK. When I connect my ZWO EFW I can no longer access its Properties to change the filters that it contains. I get an error saying that SharpCap "Cannot locate resource 'filternamecontrol.xaml'.".
I have a new EFW and so this bug is currently preventing me from setting it up in SharpCap and using it.

Re: ZWO EFW Unable to Access Properties
I was thinking of reverting to the previous version of SharpCap but when I run the installer for the older version it says that I need to uninstall the latest version of SharpCap first, via Windows | Settings | Apps. If I do this, will I loose any of my SharpCap settings / plate solving databases?
It would be much better if I could just run the installer for the old version. Is this possible?

Hi Peter,
you can safely run the uninstaller of the old version - all of your settings will be left in place. I will investigate the EFW problem.
cheers,
Robin

Re: ZWO EFW Unable to Access Properties
Hi Peter,
OK, an odd one - nothing to do with the EFW DLL update - just somehow the file mentioned in the error was missing in that build. Something must have gone wrong in the build process to leave that out.
I've created a new version and uploaded it that doesn't have the problem. I've added steps to the way that I make new versions of SharpCap to ensure that if the same problem happens again, the build process will fail, so we should never get as far as a version with this particularly problem going online again.
thanks,
Robin
