When I use the Folder Monitoring Camera, their appears a warning during stacking:
<Recentering failed. Recentering requires a connected GoTo mount. Live stacking resumes anyway.>
A lot of frames are not stacked.
This has never happened in the past.
I tested with the same fit files as before.
What setting has been changed?

Re: Using Folder Monitoring Camera
Hi,
you have the option to automatically recenter in the 'Guiding' tab of live stacking enabled. This triggers a recenter once the drift between the first frame and the current one exceeds the specified threshold. At that point it then discovers that it hasn't got a mount to work with and gives up, but I think a number of frames will be passed through live stacking while it gets around to deciding that. Disabling that option should fix things.
cheers,
Robin

Thanks for your reply Robin.
I can't remember that I have set guiding, so it seems that those setting was automatically implemented with the latest update?

Re: Using Folder Monitoring Camera
Hi Roel,
recentering in live stacking defaults to 'off' and there isn't anything to turn it on without ticking the box manually, however the setting is remembered from one session to the next. A bit of a mystery then!
cheers,
Robin
