Auto stretch in sequencer

Robin,
I am running a 60 sec loop live stacking in sequencer. After 60 sec I color calibrate using stellar calibration. I then use auto stretch to get a good image. The auto stretch always puts the black level line to the left of histogram peak. I use the manual slider to fix. My question is, are there any way to move the black level line to histogram peak automatically during sequence?

Thank you

Hi,

sadly there isn't any control over that detail in live stacking from the sequencer - you have the option to auto stretch and the option to do stellar colour calibration (which also does a slightly different auto stretch), but that's it.

The one thing that you might try is adjusting the 'Auto Stretch Intensity' slider in the main page of the settings - that applies to both the live stack auto stretch and to the display auto stretch and you might find that by changing that you get a result that is a bit closer to what you want. I don't suppose it will make much difference to the black level position, but it will change the mid level position.

cheers,

Robin

I’ll give that a try. Thanks Robin.
