Ive been a user of SharpCap Pro for about four years now, and I would like to tackle my first DSO mosiac.
How do I setup Sharpcap so I can create a Mosiac?
Kind regards
Brian

Have a look at https://telescopius.com/telescope-simulator . Complete camera and optics properties then choose the object. The number of panels can then be adjusted. At the bottom left is a list of the co-ordinates of all the panel centres. It works for me. I started off with a 2-panel to learn the techniques.
Other planetarium software will have facilities for mosaic planning.

Re: Mosiacs for DSO
Hi,
that's a good starting point for planning the mosaic centers - SharpCap doesn't have anything to help with that for deep sky mosaics (as opposed to solar/lunar mosaics, where the planning is built in).
Once you have the list of centers, there are steps that can be used in the advanced sequence editor to help automate the capture - for instance if you save your co-ordinates to a CSV file (one image center per line), you can use the 'For each RA/Dec co-ordinate in <file>' step to work through them in order performing whatever captures you want at each position.
cheers,
Robin
