Hi
I cannot connect my Altair Astro AAF Focus Cube when using Sharp Cap. When using Sharp Cap v 4.0 it is not visible in the Hardware drop down box or anywhere else, When Using Sharp Cap v 4.1 the AFF appears in the Camera drop down box.

Re: Issue With Altair Astro AAF Focus Cube
Hi,
to make the AAF not show up in the camera list, you need to update your version of SharpCap 4.1 to a recent one (see our downloads page : https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/downloads). Those newer versions understand that the AAF is not a camera and exclude it from the camera list.
In order to actually get the device working in SharpCap, you need to install both the ASCOM platform *and* the ASCOM driver for the Altair AAF, which I suppose must be available for download from Altair somewhere. Once those are installed, run your updated version of SharpCap and the AAF should show up in the hardware list.
Hope this helps,
Robin
