Hello,
Here the script for the observation of an occultation.
The scripts and the additional files (*.exe and *.pdf) can be found in the ZIP file.
Download and unpack the ZIP somewhere on your computer.
Download the PDF files and read it for the detailed installation steps.
In addition, for the SODIS user ... here the modified SODIS template for the use with the Occultation script:
For the full function of the UCAC4 script, you need at least the SharpCap Pro version 4.1.12066.
Ideally use a more recent version of SharpCap.
Regards,
Jean-Francois

Re: Script for the observation of an occultation
Sorry, but where can one find the document "UCAC4_catalog_SC_2025-09-05.pdf" mentioned in "Occultation_script_2025-09-05.pdf" ?
It is neither not in the Occultation_1.6.0.zip file nor listed here ...
Thx.

Re: Script for the observation of an occultation
Hello,
I'm sorry. I forgot to add the UCAC4 PDF in the PDF list.
Note it is available in the other topic for the UCAC4 script as stand alone software.
You can find the old version here at the beginning of the long discussion: viewtopic.php?t=7587
Or directly here: viewtopic.php?t=8255
I will edit the preceding message with the UCAC4 PDF.
In addition, I add the modified SODIS template for the use with my Occultation script (and OccultWatcher Desktop add-in).
Regards,
Jean-Francois
