Hi All
As I understand it, I need to create a sequence using the Advanced Sequence Editor to do what I need to.
Would like to see a example sequence that can
GOTO and center on object 1
perform capture until TIME
at TIME, stop capture
Goto and center object 2
perform capture until object is XX above horizon (Stop running these steps when less than <Distance> degrees above the horizon)
Goto and center object 3
perform capture until object is XX above horizon (Stop running these steps when less than <Distance> degrees above the horizon)
Home mount, stop tracking
Warmup camera
Just can't seem to wrap my head around this.
Thanks for help with this.
Take care

Re: Need Multi target image capture sequence example
Hi,
a rough example to start from is attached below - it contains most of the bits that you will need, although you will want to adjust to suit your setup.
Another thing that you can do is set up a single target sequence that suits your requirements in the 'Deep Sky Sequence Planner', then press the 'Advanced Edit' button - that transfers the various options you have selected in the DSSP to the advanced editor so you can see how they can be done in the advanced editor.
Finally, if you wanted to do exactly the same thing for each target, rather than have different options like finishing one target at a particular time and another at a particular altitude, you could use the 'Repeat for each RA/Dec target in <Coordinate List File>' - that lets you have a file with a list of co-ordinates in that can be updated to image different targets without needing to actually edit the sequence. In that approach, you could put a 'Stop running these steps after 120 minutes' block inside a 'Stop running these steps when less than 20 degrees above the horizon' step in the 'repeat loop' with the actual work inside those. That combination would mean a max of 2 hours on each target, but less if it dropped to below 20 degrees before 2 hours is up.
As you can see, you can get a lot of flexibility by combining the range of (individually simple) blocks - a bit like lego!
cheers,
Robin

Thank you Robin!!!.
You are very kind to help with something that is probably simple for most
I will work with this and try not to bother you too much.
Take care
Steve
