Offset/brightness ASI224

Hi, quick question. When planetary imaging with an ASI224 is it advisable to set the brightness/offset as when doing DSO/livestacking?
In this post viewtopic.php?f=7&t=211 I set the brightness to 0 (see the camera settings file), in order to achieve a suitable histogram for planetary imaging.
