Hi:

I have been running version 4.0 with updates on a Win10 desktop with no issues.

Processor AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.40 GHz
Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.71 GB usable)
Device ID 390864DC-F438-421C-8A4E-B9E5657C084C
Product ID 00326-10000-00000-AA523
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I checked for updates while running 4.0 and downloaded the 64-bit version. SharpCap fails with missing instruction set, SSE4.1 and warns FLATS might not work properly, but the software will not respond at all.

Hi Adam,

unfortunately your CPU is just a bit too old to work properly in SharpCap - SharpCap uses SSE4 instructions on the CPU to improve image processing speed, and your CPU looks to be about the last generation before full SSE4 support was added.

You might get a bit further if you try the 32-bit version of SharpCap - although that will still try to use SSE4 for image processing, it seems to be less sensitive to the missing instructions for general operation than the 64 bit version.
