Hello,

With the assumption that you have a not too old version of SharpCap ...

In "File" - "SharpCap Settings" - "plate Solving" select the SharpSolve engine.
On the lower part, you need first to select the "SharpSolve" configuration, then you can select the "0.25 degrees" field of view.
Note that the 0.5 degrees is installed with SharpCap. Only the 0.25 degrees index has to be download.
You download the index with a click on the "Download Index File" button.

All that is with an active internet connection.

If you do not see the SharpSolve engine ... then you need first update SharpCap :-)

Hi,

you need SharpCap 4.1 to get the built in plate solving - a relatively recent version of it too (last few months, rather than an early version of 4.1 from 2023).

cheers,

Thanks Robin.

It turns out I had 3 versions installed and after I uninstalled them all then reinstalled 4.1 I was up and going.

Thanks again Robin.
