I wonder if the program can add a feature to help collimation?
By calculating the angles of the coma tails of different stars, it could possible to find the center of the collimation?

There is already an experimental collimation assistant tool in 2.10 - it uses the size of the stars across the field to plot a contour graph, which should have a minimum at the center if you are in collimation. It's not really good enough yet, and is going to have to wait until the next version to get any more improvements. It's in the Tools menu.
