"Arrange captured files in single folder" only works once in iterative sequence. I execute the same data capture routine successively for 2 different targets. The first interation puts all the live-stacking data in a single folder. The second time through (and all subsequent times), a separate file is created for each live stack. I've attached the test program I've been using to try to overcome this issue, but decided maybe it's a bug.
I'm using a 6"Celestron Evolution with cpwi with sharpcap v4.1.12066 64 bits. Any suggestions would be great.

Re: "Arrange captured files in single folder" only works once in iterative sequence
Hi,
it looks like a bug of some description - I think maybe the first filename override configuration gets cleaned up a bit too late, so the second copy of the step sets things up as they should then that gets cleared by the first copy cleaning up. I'm going to have to debug it through to be sure though
cheers,
Robin

Thank you, Robin, for looking at it. It would be so nice to get stacks stored in a single folder.
cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,
yep, it was an ordering problem as I suspected - I have a fix which will be available for the next update on Monday.
cheers,
Robin

Hi Robin,
In a somewhat related problem, more recently I always find that a complementary png file is created alongside my fit stack when my sequence statement is:
Live Stack for 40 frames then save as FITSRawStack16Bit counting total Frames
I haven't found any setting that should cause the png file to be created. Have I overlooked something or is this a bug?
Regards,
Dave

Re: "Arrange captured files in single folder" only works once in iterative sequence
Hi Dave,
is the PNG file coming from the live stack 'autosave' option, which will save in various formats automatically just before the stack is reset? One of those formats will be the image in PNG with stretch adjustments applied.
cheers,
Robin

Robin, I don't think the autosave function is activated, but I'll investigate further.
