Every time when I close SharpCap and restart it, the width of the camera control panel is getting a few pixels smaller. The error sums up with every restart. I'm using 3.1.5143 and the same bug was also in the previous version.

Hi Michael,

I can't make this happen in my testing at the moment, it always seems to re-open at the size it was when I closed it. Any further hints on how to make this happen?

SharpCap 3.1.5143, Windows 7, screen size 1920 x 1080, camera is ASI178MM, Zoom is set to "Auto". I've uploaded a small video. There is a small piece of tape glued to the upper border of the screen. You can see that the border between picture area and control panel is moving a few pixels to the right with every restart.

Thank you for the video - very helpful. I was testing without the camera auto-opening at startup - maybe that makes a difference!

The error is now much smaller than before, but it is still there. May be one pixel per restart.
Of course for most users this doesn't care. But it's a problem when you use simulated mouse clicks with AutoHotKey, because after a few restarts the mouse click won't hit the intended control.

Exposure minus and gain minus. Unfortunately the click position depends on the width of the control panel.
Still waiting that you make keyboard shortcuts for these functions, which would be the far better solution.

Hi Michael,

those keyboard shortcuts may turn out to be easier! I suspect now the remaing issue may be a rounding error as the width of the panel is kept as a fraction of the full window width while the program is running, but at other times needs to be converted to/from a width in pixels.

Yes, it seems to be a rounding error. When the control panel is wide, it shrinks by one pixel with every restart. But when the control panel is narrow, it increases by one pixel with every restart. There is exactly one position in between where it always stays at a constant width.
